In the last few months, we finalized our down-scaled travelling exhibition in collaboration with our graphic designer Matjaž Wenzel from Maribor. More precisley, we managed to design two travelling exhibitions, a Slovene and a German version, both containing ten large and well-designed roll-ups. While the German version will start its tour shortly, the Slovene travelling exhibition was opened on March 8th, 2019, at the University Library of Maribor. The opening was held by Heinrich Pfandl. Earlier that day, Karin Almasy in an informative talk entitled „Razglednice kot inovativni vir za zgodovinopisje“(Postcards as a source for historiography) explained how postcards can be an innovative and complex/ multi-layered source for historians.
An interested visitor, Bruno F. Fras, created an exciting photographic record of the whole event, so anybody who missed the occasion can get a good impression of what was going on that day. Moreover, the exhibition will be on display in the library’s foyer until the end of March. Special thanks to Bruno F.
