The Slovene version of our travelling exhibition was opened on May 16th in Ptuj, at the local library (Knjižnica Ivana Potrča Ptuj). The opening was accompanied by a talk from Karin Almasy on old postcards from Lower Styria and speeches by the vice mayor of Ptuj Marjan Kolarič and the library’s head Matjaž Neudauer. Additionally, the library presented some rare specimens from their own postcard collection. Representatives of the local media were present too. Our heartfelt thanks go to the library Ptuj and to Mira Petrovič for hosting our exhibition. Štajer-mark will be on display in Ptuj until the end of June – then it is time for a summer break, before it will be re-opened in October in Ljubljana.
